Until the network's bandwidth gets better, people are going to route around it. It takes Roland 3 minutes to upload a 1 megapixel image. It would take something like 15 minutes to download an MP3. This, versus plunking it down next to my computer and hitting "sync" on a Bluetooth phone (or putting a Flash card into a card reader). One other point: we’ve seen carriers forcing phone manufacturers to turn off Bluetooth/USB syncing so that users are forced to pay the data tax.

It probably would have been more accurate for me to say that storage of all types is getting cheap and small and will be embedded in the cameras.
