Boris is at it again. (Kate, do you ever see him anymore??) He is proposing that we build a meat-space collaboration facility for budding entrepreneurs to gather in to swap vcards and ideas while admiring the skateboarder decals applied in to their respective laptops.
The official vision is:
a physical, 24/7 space where Vancouver’s entrepreneur community can gather to motivate each other’s innovation.
Here is a link to The Entrepreneur Centre in New England (thanks to Steve Bayle’s The Digitalyst Blog). Think of it as an incubator without the 30% equity fee and the bad connotation.
I think this is a fantastic idea and look forward to helping the gang make this come to fruition!
