He is founder of NorCal Sheepdogs, a small private training group specializing in training adventure, tactical and military athletes.
He serves as the Northern California Planning coordinator for Team Rubicon, a global non-profit disaster response organization, where he helps the local region prepare for and mitigate any future disasters.
His primary outdoor activities include attending and coaching civilian-military events, rucking, running, lifting, yoga, swimming, and personal defense training. He has completed many SEALFit events including their 3-day and 6-day academies and their 8-day Turning Steel land-warfare training camp.
He is a SEALFit–certified mentor with additional training and certifications in Crossfit, olympic lifting, endurance training, emergency management, and personal defense.
